When you purchase admission to this event you are not just getting an invitation to attend, you are providing the funding to save a life! The price associated with admission is a donation that will allow us to walk alongside an adult animal or a litter of puppies or kittens as they embark on the journey of a lifetime.
“The Mutts and Mittens Masquerade” isn’t simply a benefit gala for the homeless and at-risk animals in North Alabama, it is a life-altering event.
Join us as we spend the evening dining, dancing, and celebrating all the happily-ever-afters with the people that made it possible!

“Committed to improving the lives of the animals in our care”
We are committed!
Our commitment to improve the lives of the animals in our care and place these cats and dogs in the best adoptive homes possible is unwavering, but this commitment does come at a cost.
On average, each adult animal that enters the Friends of Rescue program requires a $150 financial commitment and each litter of kittens or puppies requires a $100 commitment. But the care we provide is not limited to “standard” needs, nor do we limit our rescue efforts to animals that will be adopted quickly, are in perfect health, or are in the dawn or prime of life.
We often accept animals that others consider unadoptable senior pets, pets with difficult, but correctable, behavioral issues, and animals with medical conditions such as heartworm disease, feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), limb amputation, and so on. We believe that everyone deserves a chance at the best life possible!
